I took the boys to Barnes and Noble on Tuesday for their free story time. We listened to a couple, one was a ballerina story (that the boys had no interest in) and the other was Shark vs. Train by Chris Barton this one they liked. They both answered when the reader asked questions of the kids, Rohan even at one point went and sat next to her so he could get a closer look. After the story, they gave the kids a picture of a ballerina or shark to color. We had a very good time and will definitely be visiting again.
We have only gone once to Barns and Nobel for story time. After the first story my little one told me he wanted to play with the trains. Crazy, we have trains at home! He loves to read one on one but in that social setting he'd rather be playing or sitting in the readers lap. Once he's 100% I think I have to keep taking him. I love that Barns and Nobel does that!
