Rohan requested a Scooby Doo themed birthday these year. But because we sort of did an impromptu birthday for Rohan at Casa Bonita, we decided we still wanted Rohan to have a get together of his friends, but we would keep his party small. While cleaning up one day i thought a great way to keep it small, and FUN was a pajama party. We invited our friends Dylon and Braden and Henry, they came over super early (8a.m.) while still dressed in their pajamas. (I decided that 3 & 5 was to early to do a REAL slumber party, but we could get close) We enjoyed a breakfast of Scooby Doo shaped pancakes and sausage, juice, milk and dog bone shaped graham crackers, which were served in dog bowls. The boys then opened presents for Rohan Henry, Kim and Chris got him 10 new play doughs (which is the 1st thing he wanted to play with once everyone left) and a crazy water hose thing for the summer, which of course he wanted to use yesterday. Braden & Dylon got him a cool remote control car set, that they went nuts about after it was opened. From mom and dad Rohan got the penguin submarine and the riddler airplane which just about finishes his batman castle set. It was a great morning, after the kids had played, they got to paint, and color. When their parents came to get them they took home a "doggy bag" full of goodies. Rohan had a blast and was happy to hang out with his friends. I did all the decorating from home, Eric is a big Scooby Doo fan, and we had a bunch of little things all over the house i used as a center piece. This was a very fun, and very stress free birthday party. I think, we might just do this from now on ;-)
Thanks for visiting. Please read on to see all of the adventures and fun we're having.
