Today with mom

Well today has been a good day. The sitter is off to Florida with her daughter, so the boys and i got to spend some time toghther. We have played and watched movies all day. Rohan had a docter's appt. yesterday that went well. He is now 23.1 pounds 31 1/4 inches and his head is 18 1/2 inches. He is doing very well in all his stages of development. I did ask Dr. Erin about the one one concern i had which was his speech, he does not seem to talk very much. She said this is because baby's can only do one thing at a time, either mobile skills or verbal. And since we's been walking since he was 9 months old, he's mobile came first. She said he will talk when he wants, and whe also said, he may decide to wait, why talk if your older brother will do it for you. He does have some problems with his lungs, so we have added Plumicort to his breathing treatments. We have to give it to him every night for the next several months. Hopefully this will help him breathe. Aragorn has decided he wants it to get warm again, so he can play outside more. And i have decided that these kids have WAY to many toys!!

Zoo Trip

It was such a nice day here in Colorado (60 degress) we went to the zoo today. We got to meet all kinds of new friends. Including an elephant, and a crocodile. Aragorn loved the crocodile, rohan was more impressed with the vents. We ate lunch with the ducks, who kept trying to steal our french fries!! We had a wonderful time walking and meeting new animals. Aragorn stuffed his face with cotton candy, Rohan was not a fan!! We got to see a bear who was trying to get a christmas tree into his house!!

Happy to New Year to everyone. And happy 1st birthday to Rohan. We hope you all had a wonderful holiday season. I am going to switch to this instead of the other website. Not only can I upload pictures, but I can also add information and fun things the boys and we as a family are doing. We have been staying home lately as everyone has been sick. We celebrated Rohan's 1st birthday New Years day with some cake and a couple gifts. He seemed to enjoy it. We did make it to the museum at the end of December so the boys could finish their fossil collection. They each got a tooth, and 2 claws of a dinosaur. Aragorn was very excited about the new exhibit and loved to play in the bone dig. Rohan who has been walking for the last 3 months is all over the place. He is getting pretty good at drinking and walking and carrying his blanket (whom we have named Jack-Jack). So far '09 had been good for us, we are spending a lot of time together as a family and loving every minute of it.
