Christmas Lights.....

We did our 2nd annual Christmas Lights tour on Tuesday.  We got Sonic again and Starbucks for me.  And just drove around.  We got to jam out to Christmas Music as we ooo'd and ahhh'd about all the lights.  The boys both fell asleep about 1 hour into it.

Colorado Christmas......

Living in Colorado, many would think we get a lot of snow for Christmas.  Now when we say this, i think of ON Christmas, that very rarely happens.  But every once in a while, we do get some fresh powder before the holiday.  This year it came the 22nd.  We got about 10-12 inches.  Eric spent almost 4 hours shoveling (yeah he LIKES winter).  Today the 23rd i decided to let the boys go nuts in the HUGE piles.  The got thrown into the piles, and got to throw snowballs at each other.  Hopefully we have some good sleepers tonight ;-)

Goodbye Mike,

My step father in law passed away today.  We don’t have any details.  His youngest daughter is handling things it sounds like, and she had a lot on her plate.  Eric and Crystal talked for a minutes, unfortunately Crystal really needed help with a few things that Eric could help with, and that’s all they talked about. 

I didn’t really know mike very well.  But I’ve heard stories.  He was an excellent pool player.  He taught Jesse & Jerremey how to play, and play well.  He loved his kids, even though the relationship with them was very strained. 

I hope he Rests in Peace.  You’ll be missed Mike.

Winter wonderland......

On Friday Aragorn's class had a winter wonderland reading day, In order to celebrate the importance of reading.  All of the kids got to wear their PJ's and we all got to hang out and read.  Aragorn and his buddy chose the library, so we took our blankets and pillows and we read aloud.  We got about 3 books done before it was time to go.  This was a lot of fun for us, especially Rohan who is SO excited about school! He loves anything that involves going to Aragorn's school.  My only complaint was i wish the reading time were a little longer.  Just when we were starting to have a really good time it was over.  It was a lot of fun though, and i am glad i was able to go to it with the boys.
