We dot not tithe money to our church. This is a mutual decision of Eric and I. Based on a couple different reasons, my aversion to giving money to an organization that i am not 100% sure where said money goes and Eric has grown up tithing by doing. His great-grandfather was a doer. He also did not tithe, but he was willing to make or do anything the church wanted. We have decided, that we will tithe by doing also. That said, the work that goes into the Edge church each week is overshadowed by the production that is put on. But please believe the Edge would be nothing without the people that do "set up" and "take down" each week. One of the things that gets transported every week is the stage. It was given to the Edge for use, and it had seen better days. It was gray and needed to be painted badly, each week it was getting covered by carpets and tape, and just generally didn't look pleasing. So as he's way of tithing Eric painted the stage pieces last week. We parked both cars in the driveway, and he went to town. He spent all last week after work, and after the boys went down painting and touching up the pieces. They turned out great and looked wonderful. I hope the church was as happy to recieve these pieces of stage, as he was to do them for the church. They turned out great!!
